Aimed at:
The Care Training Academy offers a range of Care Training courses, aimed at those working within the Health and Social Care Sector. In addition to awareness courses SLH also runs NVQs in health and Social care and LDQ (Learning disabilities qualifications).
What is its purpose?
The awareness session are in line with the Skills for care sector common induction framework and includes accredited First Aid courses (certified by AID) and Moving and handling people.
The health and social care NVQ is about to be launched at a Certificate and Diploma and is available at levels 2 and 3.
Learning disabilities qualification is running till December 2010 and will then be modules as part of the NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care Certificates and Diplomas.
